Comments:

First time in shotgun start (2500 plus)..made it difficult to get out from being intangled by slower swimmers...had to swim parallel to shore to get free. poor nav withg all the swimmers chop..overall slower than expected due to bodys in water
What would you do differently?:

Start on outside and try to accelerate initially..also need to work on nav and just more swimming...overall great experience

Brutal course over 112 MIles..tough for a beginner biker that did not practice on mountains like this
What would you do differently?:

Bike...Bike...Bike and then more Bike

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Hills...and first IRONMAN experience improper pacing
