Subject: Out of the shadows Hello to all, great site. I started training about 3 months ago. I've been in and out of shape several times over the last 10 years, but this last time my new relatively sedentary job and matching lifestyle caused my blood pressure to creep up on me. After clearing things with my physician who said I'm still in excellent health I began getting in shape. I came across your page while looking for articles on running and found myself a new motivation for getting in shape. I'll post later with my progress, so far, things are going pretty well, BP's coming down and I've dropped 18 pounds, my doc said he doesn't see patients who actually change their lifestyle to help heal themselves often.
