My wife has been the one complaining. Why do you still have a belly with all this training? Then she acknowledges that I look a lot skinnier.

Muscle is more dense, a lot more dense.  Take a look at a loaf of bread, that's about the size of 5 pounds of fat. When you lose 5 pounds of fat the size of a loaf of bread and build 5 pounds of muscle that is 1/4 to 1/3 the size of the fat, you get skinnier.

People gain and lose in different places. I have belly flab (no longer do I have dickie do disease), and fat on my legs and arms.  I have lost in all three areas. My wife gains it in her hiney first and loses it there last.

My message is, Keep the Faith.  Even if you don't lose a single pound more, your body is healthier and stronger. You heart is not working as hard and is more efficient. Everything you have done has made you a better you.

I can chime in on this one.. the last two months I have been training a lot.. like two hours every day.. usually one rest day a week.. and I have not lost one single kg.
I can however fit into clothes I could not two months ago.. and all my jeans now do not fit.. they fall off. I basically do not get onto the scales any more.. I eat well.. train a lot.. and do not worry about things.

Thanks for all the responses.  I must confess after my last sprint bombed out I have not trained in a month.  Time to suck it up and get back on track.  Anyone else go through a "let down" phase whent he off season starts?
