Pre-race routine:

Ate 1.5 cliff Bars about 1 hour before race. Got to race on time and set up rack.

Got into water and swam a few strokes.

Went off course, subconsciously followed a "strong" swimmer off course
What would you do differently?:

Site more often, trusting in my own navigation and not depend on anyone else's direction.

Good transition, took too much time clipping number belt, had the clip behind my back. Took too much time arranging my wet suit so it wouldn't get munched by other athletes.
What would you do differently?:

Clip number belt up front, not worry about wet suit

I added pulling on a skirt, so I could change into running shorts. The tri shorts ride up and are very uncomfortable.

train doing the transition changing into running shorts.

Event comments:

This was a national event, with athletes coming from all over the nation. I will definitely do this again. I'm looking forward to the 2011 Games in Huston, Tx.
