Anybody here doing the Young Life tri in Detroit Lakes?  I don't think anybody in the MN forum is, but I thought I'd check here.

For the record, I did the race this morning, and I probably won't do it again in the future.  The race has some issues that really need to be worked out - swim route, run/bike/traffic crowding, poor post-race food options.  My race report details this a bit.

I have done the Younglife in 09 and 11, I enjoy it cause it is close to home and it is great for beginners. This year they did have the swim distance right. I think in 09 the swim distance was off because apparently before the race one of the boats/jets ski took out the ankor line for the bouy and they have to just guess on the location.

I will likely do it again.
