Race Calendar - Add Self

Master  1661     Newbury Park, CA |  Subject: Race Calendar - Add SelfSome of the races on the calendar allow you to add yourself to the event and some don't. What's the difference? Is there a way to add yourself to a race already on the calendar if the "Add Self to Event" link isn't there? It would be cool to see which of you will be at the races I am planning. |

Champion 13323   Gold member | Subject: RE: Race Calendar - Add Self when users add an event for the first time, thier is a box at the very bottom that says 'allow users to signup'...by default it is unchecked...SO the majority of people probably overlook this. the administration part of the forum does not allow me to change that default. an option is is that i can set it so that registered users can go in an edit/delete the event. that way if the box is not checked, u can go in and check it and add yourself. WOULD THIS WORK? i wouldnt want someone mucking up anothers event. BUT we can try it if u all think its a good idea. |

A person can email or message the owner to do this for the ones they would like to sign up for. It can get pretty messy if the same race is listed a dozen times by separate individuals. Just ideas. Thanks for putting together a great and inspiring site. |
