Subject: Almond Butter-Chocolate Smoothie

Came across this while browsing today:

Ingredients: 

1/2 cup skim milk
One banana, the riper the better
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa (you may opt for a little more or less, depending on how chocolate-y you want it to be)
2 tablespoons almond butter
Ice cubes to taste for thicker, colder consistency 

Directions:

  1. Pour milk into a blender.   
  1. Slice the banana into small pieces and add to the milk.
  1. Add the remaining ingredients and blend. Serve in a tall glass and enjoy.

Mmmm....sounds tasty.  I wonder if chocolate protein powder could be used in place of the cocoa with good results?

Yep, I make the exact smoothie using chocolate protein powder, it's delicious and I crave it after a long run.
