Subject: RE: Flats and Aero Bottles What's in your aerobottle that can't be replaced at next aid station within 10 miles on IM? I just lie my bike on its side with derailuer side up if I get a flat. I also carry Pitt Stop that I would try first before trying to change my tubulars in an IM if there was not an obvious huge hole in the tire. I go with only water in my aerobottle as it makes things less sticky. Liquid nutrition goes in water bottles on my bike so if I get a flat I don't lose that. Once I'm down a nutrition bottle I keep a spare water bottle on my bike so losing water from my aerobottle doesn't matter. |
