Subject: Insanity
Has anyone tried Beachbody's Insanity program?  They call it Max Interval Plyo and Cardio training?  Would this help with base training?....training at 80-85% plus of heart rate?  I imagine it would help improve VO2 max, etc.  Just wondering if anyone understands this better than me (wouldn't take much) and could shed some light.

I was thinking about doing this in my off season, I went with P90x instead. I dont think I would have the energy for S/B/R after one of those workouts, so for me It would probably lead to overtraining. Im sure if you have done it before you could probably customize and make it fit into your training. There are some users on BT, I hope they weigh in!

I've seen a video or two and as a P90X fan it doesn't appeal to me at all.  It's all very high impact, makes plyometrics look tame in comparison.  Will it get you fit and ready for the season?  Undoubtedly, unfortunately I think it might get me injured.
