Run
Comments: out and back run, rpe seemed high for time, effects of being sick I'd guess. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Had a great ride going. It was only a 10 mile course do to last minute changes, so I was going hard. Passed a lot of people and built up a nice lead on my buddies, who are stronger runners. Averaging over 22 mph, a high for me, until I got a flat at mile 8. Slow jog back to transition. Thank you to everyone who offered help/support, it was very much appreciated. Transition 2
Comments: decided to call it a day. by the time I made it back to transition lots of people were coming in from the run. Another day and I would have gone hard on the run just for the hell of it, but the adrenaline was gone by this point; I was freezing and not feeling so great. Run

A couple of friends joined me for this race. Definitely makes things more fun and gets the competitive spirit going. I've been sick for while, and might have bailed if they weren't doing the race as well.
stretch, couple warm up runs, and just trying to keep warm in general.
