Does your library use library elf? If so, you can have it send you an email reminder that they are coming due.

Not sure about library elf, but I did sign up for e-mail notices.....so perhaps that is it. Will check out the website as well. For now, will keep them in a book bag so they don't wind up in the gazillion stacks of books that seem to materialize out of nowhere.

what does one do w all that extra energy during a taper week.

one GETS HER HAIR ALL CUT OFF.

UBER SHORT.

well, not so short that people will wonder - is that girl or a guy when i whiz past - but....

short enough that i dont have to wince when i try to stuff in my swim cap.

short enough that it will dry BEFORE i get to my leaving the Y WITHOUT having to use the blow dryer.

short enough that i wont even have to wear a hat, bandana or hair band on SUNDAY.

im thinking about 'dying' it (temporarily) a GHOULIE GREEN for my race on Sunday.

or at least PUT GREEN HIGHLIGHTS IN IT!

my CARRIAGE TURNED BACK INTO A PUMPKIN.

i was supposed to be outta here (Panera - eating a VERY NON PALEO LUNCH)

and off to WALMART.

my sons pumpkin DIED. well, at least thats what he said.

it cracked.

then rotted.

he SWEARS someone MURDERED his pumpkin [and this isnt even the youngest WILD THING]

Yep, will check that out. I'm really quite excited about using the library. I consume books like others consume chocolate. I used to hang out there all the time as a kid. I live close enough to walk, but will probably take "Blue Betty" so I can carry my books home in her cool wicker basket.
