Looks like this site will take GPS downloads from your bike workouts and track your rides and compare it with other online riders. Also it gives a discount $159 for a garmin edge 305. A year subscription is $29.It goes fully online in 2010.

anyone use it ? Any other similair sites you prefer ?

I am just looking for a site like this and thought it looked good....

Thanks

ah, bummer - they don't support the garmin forerunner 305 since it doesn't have an altimeter. too bad they're not all as smart as sport tracks...

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to clear up a few things around Strava and the support of forerunners.

Beginning on Jan 1 we will support uploads from all Edge and Forerunner devices. Initially we won't be calculating watts or points when you upload with devices lacking the barometric altimeter or trying to find new climbs in your rides, but all the other features will be supported. For example, you will be able to compete for KOMs on existing climbs and segments. But we are also looking at solutions to augment the elevation data to bring it on par with devices equipped with barometric altimeters such as the Edge 305, 500 and 705.

If you have any further questions you can post them at http://support.strava.com/>
Cheers,

Pelle
