CB&I ROCKS! Can't say enough good things about this Gem of a race. Onurleft will be out in full force. Come have a drink and chat post race. Any of the Memorial Hermann Tri Texas Race Series 100 Club that hasn't picked up their jerseys may also do so at this race. Hope for better weather than what they are saying! Fingers crossed!

thanks for tips about wetsuits.  i was actually wearing the speedo under to keep out some of the scum and debris that floats on top of the water!! nothing worse than dirt inside you clothes and not being able to change or take your shirt off!

erin116 and I will be volunteering somewhere at the race on Saturday and cheering everyone on.

A friend and I have decided to attempt to buy a couple of resell packets tomorrow night.

If we don't have any luck, we'll be volunteering.

I'll be out there Fri and certainly Saturday. Look forward to meeting some of you. Swing by the booth.

Weather wise, things are looking okay.  Looks as if the rain wont come in until lunch time. Hopefully I'm done by then.

I hope you're right!  I'm looking forward to this race!

I'm using mine either way. Only thing it will ever hurt is if there's a such a strong side wind it knocks you over or makes it hard to hold your bike steady. Most of the course is protected "enough" to avoid that. Take any advantage you can get.

Anyone dropping their bikes off today? (Friday)

did a 9mi TT a couple weeks ago in 25mph winds with my disc and 404 front... no real problems. I only weigh 145-8.

Not dropping off tonight, but will be there for the pizza & mingling.

There is very little wind on the course.

Also, erin116 will be working bike drop-off this evening if you want to say "Hi".

Thanks to Willie for another great race! No issues, everything done right! I'll be back for a 5th year straight in 2011~!

I agree, it was a great race!  It was my 1st CB&I and I am looking forward to next year!

X2 This was the best race I've participated in so far.  Lots of fun and lots of support.  Came all the way from Baton Rouge and it was def worth the trip!!

BTW-I had never had Chik-fil-a minis before Saturday and I must say they were unbelievable!!

i agree with everyone that it was a great race and so well organized and executed.  Only one wish for next year ... have some emergency water on the bike for those of us that are clumsy enough to drop their water.  Even the paramedics along the bike route didn't have water!!  i will be back next year and load extra water
