Not much. Maybe 1/4 mile warmup. Count down until midnight. Kiss wife and take off.

Did a VO2 max and lactate threshold test on Tuesday at Meredith's Human Performance Lab. I could tell from the start that my legs just didn't have a lot in them. I held pace the best that I could until I hit the steep climb at 2.5 and about 3/4 of the way up my legs were totally shot. Walked for a little bit two times and got passed by about 20 or so people. Finished as fast as I could but didn't have any kick coming into the chute.
What would you do differently?:

Not puch myself to failure two days before the race. But this was a for fun event so it didn't really matter.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not having any leg strength!
