Highland County YMCA Indoor Tri Afterthoughts

Although this was a casual event, it was very well organized. It was on time and, most importantly, so was the lunch afterwards.

It was 20 minutes for each event and my group ran first, biked second and swam third. There were 10 minute transitions in between. The tri purist in me was a little annoyed when I found out I'd be going backwards, but I realized it would just be a fun opportunity to complete a tri in a new way, and I was excited to see how my body would respond.

They want to do it again next year and hopefully by that time, they'll have their Web site fixed so it can get linked to. I hope ya'll come on down to Highland County next year and check it out.
