Itchy Skin After Swimming

use a reallly good moisturinzing lotion. your skin is likely dry from the chemicals.

I break out in a rash often from the chlorine...If I get in the shower quickly and then lube up, it goes away quickly.  I've heard there is a product that acts like a second skin that you apply prior to going in the pool, but not sure what it's called...If I find it, I'll let you know.

Moisturizer alone doesn't do it for me, but I'll tell you what does - Ultraswim. I use the shampoo on my bod, too. Definitely helps decrease skin irritation from the pool. After I dry off I use Lubriderm - every time. I'm an itchy mess if I skip either of these steps.

I run into the same problem but if I shower with a moisturizing body wash right after and use Hemp lotion from the Body Shop, it seems to do the trick! If you can't stand the smell of the Hemp lotion, try the Shea Butter or the Mango Butter.

It may be the chlorine in the water or an extreme dry skin condition. I use Eucerine cream. It is one of the best non prescription creams in the market.
