This looks good.  Would be a good training ride for the Galveston HIM.  Do you know if you have to register?

I am doing the ride tommorrow as well.  Should be fun.

There is onsite registration.  I believe its $35 for onsite.

Have fun!

I am up for 45 but looks like it's going to be chilly.  Earlier in the week the low was supposed to be 51 now they are saying low of 42!  That is nippy!  Might have to borrow the husbands running tights to wear over my bike shorts.

It's been a while since I have been on the saddle.  I refocused my training for the Houston Marathon after Longhorn HIM.  I dropped the bike workouts and focused more on running; kept the swimming up though, I need all the fitness I can get for that.Smile

I am looking at signing up for the 45 miler.  Anyone else looking at 45?  I am not planning on the 20+ mph group; looking at just logging some miles again.

Going to be a cold start.

No worries Craig, I'm not blaming.  I was just glad to see I wasn't imagining things Smile
Honestly I am glad I didn't know you guys were going 37 because I really wanted to do the 45.  I had to pay for this ride and $1 per mile is a bit pricey.  Honestly I think $35 for 45 is pricey but I got one more rest stop option.

I enjoyed riding with you and would like to do that again.

i didn't think you were blaming, and you definitely weren't imagining things....trying to ride in group within a n organized ride can be tricky. glad you got the mileage in that you wanted to. i'm not in any hurries to add bike mileage yet, i still have a half and full marathon this spring before i ever even do a tri. i'm still waiting for the warm weather......i may be waiting a few more weeks
