NYC Marathon - I'm in!!!

I got in too!
I am deferring my entry until next year though. I will be doing the Athens Marathon that same weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

You are going to love it. It's the best marathon out there, so much fun. I'm in as well, despite the fact that it's two weeks after my IM race. But almost under any condition I'll be running this one!

I'm in too! Very excited as I wasn't last year. I made my hotel reservations and many of the hotels were already sold out, fyi. It's about 2 months after the 1/2 IM I might do so now, I guess is as good a time as any.

Congrats! I can't even fathom running that far but I did get a kick out of your avatar as I have the 2003 National Champs banner hanging in my office here in NJ. When did you graduate???

I got in as well...however, I also got in the Marine Corps Marathon. But...I might now have to work the weekend of the Marine Corps Marathon. I'd rather do Marine Corps now, and defer the NY until next year. Either way, I have a marathon coming up.

Which 1/2 IM are you doing? I was considering DiamondMan, which would be ~2 months.

I graduated in '93 so I as there during the Vergantino era. Man I miss those Saturday games...
Went to grad school at Rutgers but as hard as I try to get into their games, it's just not the same. Maybe if they actually won once in awhile....

By the way, have you been back to the campus in the last few years? So many changes (mostly for the better)...parts of it are almost unrecognizable!
