Although I struggled a little at first trying to keep up with him, I finally settled down and didn't do too horrible once I regressed back to my normal pace. It was nice to have an area that was out of the way of boat traffic. FYI, I talked to my neighbor yesterday. He said he would gladly bring his motorboat any time we wanted him to come in order to give us another level of safety. He used to be rescue for some of the speed boat races. |

Glad to have company out there. look forward to more OW and hopefully more folks. the boat sounds cool, then we could just go out and back and not worry about getting plowed over by a ski boat haha. |

The next weekend is the Music City tri. Hopefully the weekend after that I can meet up with some of you. I'm not sure of Chris' plans. |

Expert 769 Murfreesboro, Tennessee | Subject: RE: OWS practice CRunner10 isn't slow at all, but I can assure you that I am. We swim from point to point, so it is kinda like lap swimming. I just measured the distance from an aerial shot. It looks like the points are about 250-300 yards apart, depending on what angle you take. So with 4 or 5 people out there we will constantly be passing each other going back and forth and each person will be able to maintain their own pace without ever being too far from the other swimmers. |
