Subject: My first road race
Although not a tri yet, I did compete in my first road race ever this weekend. It was a 3k road race held by Eastman Chemical in Kingsport, TN. It was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to experience a tri. I finished 263 or 453 with a time of 16:13. I was pleased and I told myself that although 262 finished ahead of me, I bet they couldn't bench 300, ha ha.

Sounds like you had a great race. You had fun and a positive experience. Sounds like a tri could be lurking in the future.
