Nothing fancy, but its my first roadie since I was in high school. We'll see how she works out this year and then maybe move up to something built for tris.

I've seen alot of new bike post.  This thread needed a bump.

Elegant and understated! Well done.

Mine is purchased but getting the pedals and aerobars installed so I can get fitted to her before taking her home today. 
I had this bike and the Equinox sitting side by side (same price.)  Although the Equinox was very easy on the eyes, she was more of the porcelin doll with fake boobs to me.  She didn't want a career, she just wanted to shop and go out to eat all the time.  She was into Sex and the City and getting her hair and nails done while she gossiped with her girlfriends.  She didn't seem impressed at the idea of rural rides.  She wanted flat roads.

I chose the 2.3.  She is a down to earth, intellectual lady who enjoys discussing economics and history.  She is unknowingly gorgeous and loves being outdoors.  She told me that she fantasizes about having me get all hot and sweaty while riding her up a hill.  I had to have her!  I threw out the name, "Katie" and she said it was fine as long as she could call me, "Harder - Faster."  I am in love.

Here is mine, I've got a little over 30 miles on her and 3 flats. I just ordered some gatorskin tires, hopefully that does the trick.
