Like Skarl, I'm waiting for it to get a little warmer here in MN.  During summer training, I seldom wear socks on the bike, most of the time on the run I do wear socks.  I do a few shorter runs before races w/o socks to make sure shoes and feet are good to go.  For tris at Oly and under distances, I don't wear socks.  For my HIM races, no socks on bike, socks on the run.

VFF's; did a half-mary 2 months ago with a minor minor blister (didn't know it was there until I took off the Classics.

I have always ran sockless but have just recently started riding without socks and I really like it.

In the summer, I can bike sockless, BUT when I did my first sprint last year  I also ran sockless, and wound up with giant blisters on my arches after about 1 mi into the run.  Had to stop and take my shoes off to finish the run barefoot.  It took a long time before my feet healed enough to run again.

I'll never run sockless again.

My problem is I love socks.  The main reason I want to race without socks is because that is what the cool kids do.  If I ever lose a race by the 10 seconds it takes me to put my socks on, I will reconsider my approach.  I do have a question though.  My routine right not after the swim in to slip my socks on, slip my shoes on then run with my bike to exit.  Is there anyone clips their shoes in, but puts socks on.  I've never seen anyone running with shoes clipped in with socks on.

I only do sprint tri's (so far), but go sockless.  Never had a problem with blisters.

For training I wear socks for running and very thin dry-fit socks on the bike.
