Comments: Pretty much what I expected. I was hoping to set a PR, but knew that on a hilly course with at least 3 miles on dirt roads that were covered in snow and mud that the main goal of getting an early season HM in was more important that doing awesome. I am very happy with my time considering I wasn't training exclusively for this. I'm also happy to note that I had NO GI issues today! WooHoo! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Water, sports drink, banana, shower, light stretching, copious amounts of food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Early season race. Training focused on triathlon, not running. Hilly course and long muddy sections. Last updated: 2010-01-30 12:00 AM

Not much for pre-race routine since this was a glorified training run. Woke up at 6, breakfast (oatmeal w/blueberries & walnuts, "sausage" patty, 8 oz milk, 16 oz water) finished around 7:20, did some work around the house, and drove to race start at 9:15
Checked in, got shoes on, used the bathroom, short 5 minute run to get the legs moving.
