So I checked my bike but did not realize I needed my helmet. I hope I can race Sat.

I've had my bike checked for that sticker approximately 0 times in the last 4 years.

Unlike others in this thread, the volunteers at all the Ironhead races I have been to have always checked for the sticker on my bike.

KSH, the helmet inspection isn't as important as the bike one. I have forgotten my helmet before too and had no problems racing.

You should be good.  They only put an inspection sticker on my bike.  Said we didn't need a sticker for the helmet.
