Subject: Cervelo P2K - $850
Hey everyone. I'm selling my 2000 Cervelo p2k and want to give fellow BT'ers and chance before I go to Craigslist and/or Ebay. It's a 54cm on 650's with the CommonWealth Games paint scheme which is rare esp. with the faring under the bottom bracket. She has a full Dura-ace drive train (crank, front and rear dérailleur, bar end shifters), Profile Design carbon-X base bar with t2+ aluminum s-bend extensions(old extensions shown), Profile BSC carbon aero fork and 105 brakes. The wheels shown (Zipp tubular 909 wheelset, 404 front with a 900 rear disk) will be sold Separately unless a package deal is requested. The stock "training" wheels which will be sold with the bike are Ritchey Velocity AeroHead and both wheel sets have Vittoria tires. She's been an amazing racing bike that has done me well and now needs a new home. I'm letting her go for MUCH less than what I paid originally in hopes to give someone the chance to get into or grow in the sport with a solid bike at a good price...unlike what you find most of today...high $$$. Feel free to msg or email me with any questions you have. Thanks

Also, she'll be sold w/o a saddle. The one shown I no longer have and every real cyclist knows that once you find a saddle that works...you don't let it go LOL

This is a great deal for whoever picks it up. I know I will probably never get rid of my Aluminum P3 I picked up last year.

how tall are you and what is your inseam?  I'm 5'11'' with a 30'' inseam.  Have not been fitted with a tri bike yet, but a 54cm is probably close to what I will need.  Ever wrecked and how many miles +/-?

Also, where are you located?  I may consider....

I'm 5'9''ish closer to 5'10'' and I'm pretty sure my inseam is close to yours...not exactly sure though. The bikes never been wrecked but has fallen over a time or two while leaning against my car etc. and other than wear and tear you would find on a frame this "old" she's in great shape. As for the mileage, I'd probably be lying to you if I gave you a definite answer. I myself have prob put around 1500 on it (over 3yrs) and the owner before me is a rodie and only rode it for stage race time trials so it never saw much action during that time. I live in Lafayette, LA and can have my local bike shop (Precision Bikes) pack her up all nice and cozy. Let me know what you think.

That's about my size as well.  How much would it be including the Zipps?

With the wheels I'll be asking $1200. That put's a full carbon, tubular set of Zipps at $350 which is a steal by anyones measure.

Hi there:
Ooo...looks tempting, looking for my first tri bike.  Where are you located at?  I'm in Los Angeles and wondering how much this will cost to ship to me?

haven't been fitted yet so wondering if 54cm is too large for me.  i'm 5'8" with 30 inseam.

will this include pedals?

thank you
Jeff

Not threadjacking here at all...

I'm 5'-8 as well and have about a 30.5 in inseam. I also ride a 54 Cervelo P2SL (same frame as the P2K), but mine is 700c wheels, not 650's. Not sure if the geometry is the same, but you should be close.

That's a good deal on a really good bike!
