Is anyone doing this race? Where are you staying if you are traveling? The hotels close by do not look inviting...

why would you not just drive up race day?  New Hartford is not that far from Danbury.  There are probably some nice B&Bs.

I'd love to do it (given my mechanical and cramping issues today in Bport) but 2 olys in 2 weeks would be foolish for me.

I'm coming up (live in NC) for this one!  You could try Torrington or Winsted - there might some hotel options there.  I'll be staying at a cottage on the lake.   

Hoping there will be some good weather this weekend, too.  But, I'm happy to have a race with cooler temps and less humidity than NC!
