Vero Beach Pools or OWS

There's a big aquatic pool center that my son does swim meets at about 15 miles north of Vero Beach and couple miles across the way from Wabasso Beach.

I haven't swam in the Ocean or Intracoastal down that way so I can't offer any feedback on that, but there are plenty of ocean parks to check out.

I live in Vero and we have a couple of different pools that may work for you.  There is the Jungle Club and Leisure Square which both have 50m lap pools.  The one at the Jungle Club is salt water which is nice.  There are several Masters swim classes at Leisure square if you want to get an organized workout in.  Go see Gene, he charges $7 per session and is great to work with.  He usually has 3k and 4k workouts.  I'm pretty sure the workouts are from 3-6 on Mondays and Wednesday.  The number is 772-770-6500.  Also, the North County Pool in Sebastian has a 50m salt water pool and sometimes they set the lanes up for 100m which makes long workouts a little easier.  OWS are hit and miss in Vero, but the beach has lifeguards if you make the journey out by yourself.  Good luck!  Randy
