Subject: 2015 UCI championships You going ?

 I know this is a ways out, but anyone going to this ? I was very excited when I read this. Should be a great time in cycling heaven.

I wonder if Kristin Armstrong would come out of retirement for it.

Heck, Jeannie Longo won well into her 40s.

She announced a few months ago that she was coming out of retirement for the 2012 Olympics.

 If you have never been it is amazing . I was at the '86 at colorado springs.  Not sure what I enjoyed more, seeing the best cyclist's going all out, or the spectator crowd that was like a soccer match with the flags, face paint and all. When Moreno Argentin won the road race the Italians went nuts and started dancing around. Lemond was 6th i think. It was a lot of fun.

I got to go to the 1996 Olympic race.
I was right at the start finish line.  After the race, Bjarne Riis saw his national flag waving so he rode over and chatted up the fans waving the flag.

I was standing next to the family of Steve Hegg. 

Best of all, it was free.  They charged to get in to the mtb race.

Pretty cool experience.

I'm definitely going if they host it!!!  The only major cycling event I've been to was when the World Cup for track cycling was hosted by the Velodrome in Trexlertown.
