I have found two bikes I am looking at getting.  I am fairly ignorant about bikes so coming to yall for some guidance.  I have found a 2009 or 2010 (cant remeber) Talon with 105/Dura Ace components for 1500 and the 07 Giant with tiagra/105 components for 1600.  I think they are both decent deals just wanted to get some guidance.  Both are new.  What yall think.  They both will fit so dont beat me up on that please.

The 2007 Giant with Tiagra and 105 is not worth the money. Period.  you can get a new Giant with Ultegra for around $2000 and that one is now 4 years old.  Do not waste your money. 

I can't say anthing about the Talon.  But considering your ballpark figure for prices, you should keep looking.  Just my $.02.

Well the giant is out.  I went back to take a ride, and come to find out its a medium not a large which i would need.  I was 105/ultegra components but either way they made it an easier decision from that aspect.  I am headed to the other shop tomarrow and will be taking the talon on a long test ride to make sure.  The shop that I am buying from will fit the bike, provide tuneups for the life, and give me 10% off all future purchases from his shop.  So his followup care is pretty good.

just picked up a 2010 Talon yesterday... only rode the trainer this morning but love it already and can't wait for the weather to clear!

I got a pretty good deal at my LBS... let me know how you do...
