Subject: first time caller, long time listener

Registered for my first tri this year, Lake Zurich Olympic distance

Just started my "official training" this week.

Have done several long distance races, 6 half marathons and 1 full last fall. Also registered for the Chicago full marathon this fall.

As a first time tri participant, I haven't invested in a full on tri or race bike - have a hybrid.

I'm sure I'll have lots of newbie questions, so be warned

Good luck in your race, and welcome to BT. Sounds like you have a great background in racing so I'm sure this will be an easy transition for you. 

If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask them. There are tons of able and willing people always willing to give advice.
