Is anyone planning on running the DE marathon in May? Any chance that there are unofficial pace groups or running clubs that pace people? Any tips on the race in general? Just signed up this week. Thanks!
I just ran the Ceasar Rodney 1/2 two weeks ago and it shares a lot of the same course. My only advice is to work on hill-work. There're no hills in Dover where I live, so the hills put a hurting on my pace.
I enjoyed the course. Definately train for hill is you don't already. For "swag", I got a nice t-shirt and other goodies. It appeared to be very well orgainized and considering it has been going on for years and years, they obviously know what they're doing.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. My first Half was a hilly course so I will make sure to train for them again. It seems like you get alot for your money so it should be alot of fun. Anyone else doing it?
