Wouldn't miss it.  Luckily it's not the same weekend as IM KS like last year.  Hopefully we get cooler weather than yesterday!

I am making it a point to avoid any race with the word hill in the name or logo. I did the Topeka to Auburn in January, I'm done with hills for the year..

My wife and I are doing it this year.  We registered for it a long time ago, and since then we both ended up with injuries and now just want to finish the race.  I've pretty much ruled out all my original goal times.  This is the first week where I've been able to run pain-free since March.

How did the run go for everyone? It was my first HM and I ran it in 1:57.43.  Tough course, was not physically ready for the repeated hills, I should have done more intervals.  One of the best races I have been to organization wise.

My goal time was 2:30, made the first 10 miles at the 2hr mark. Then my calves cramped to the point I felt like they were tied in knots and it took me an hour to do the final 3.1 miles.
