Any thoughts on this model? I've been using newton racer's and it's a great shoe but not durable, for its price I can get two pairs of shoes already.

I have the T7's and think they are great.  Very light, yet seem to have great cushioning for a race shoe.  Brooks has a 30 day guarantee, so if you get them and don't like them, there is no risk.  Be sure to go 1/2 size up though.

I've been thinking of getting a pair of these, too.  I'm just wondering if they're padded enough for anything over a sprint distance.

I just ordered a pair. The specific special edition racer was actually hard to find.

I have the T7 and I will most definately be wearing them in my Oly's.  I raced a 4 mile race last month and besides my calfs being sore the next day, they worked out perfect.   I sized-up the recommended half size from my other brooks and the fit is perfect.  I think the cushion is pretty darn good for a 6oz shoe!

I would think about these for a half marathon depending on my goals.

Picked them up today and boy their really paper light had to get it 1 size bigger though, the sizing sucks. anyway I'll try them out on my oly this may 1 let's see what happens, it seems well padded at the heel area but coming from newtons the fore foot area of the t7 is way thinner.
