Swim
Comments: lots of chop on first leg until turn back towards shore. Poor siting on the way back in. Too far right. Goggles fogging made finding exit hard. Thought I would have been faster but still at basically 2:00 per 100. What would you do differently?: defogger on goggle. More OWS to translate swim technique to OWS. Transition 1
Comments: Long run from water to Transition. Had to put on flip flops. dropped goggles. What would you do differently?: Practice getting out of suit. Bike
Comments: 2nd cap felt much better. Could ride in higher gear overall on second lap. Felt better but wasn't any faster. rode new saddle. felt pretty good. What would you do differently?: Back on the hills! Transition 2
Run
Comments: Dumped water at both water stops. Didn't walk though wanted to around mile 2. Tried to keep close to a woman in my age group who had passed me on the bike. Post race
Warm down: water, banana, Honey milk. Cheered on Libby and Delia then headed home. Stomach upset and didn't want to eat for a while at home. What limited your ability to perform faster: PS. woke up Sunday with a severe muscle spasm in left shoulder and neck. massage and kinesio tape plus muscle relaxants and ice.
