Warm down: Had some recovery drinks and took a shower. Within 3 hours of completion I walked a mile to get my legs moving again. What limited your ability to perform faster: I think it was a couple of different things. I was trying to get over a cold, so I was not 100% pyhiscally there. Weather conditions. That race was the warmest race I have entered. I dont think I was ready for the heat. And finally training. I am sure I peak to early in my training plan. I did a 10mile run in early April and then nothing longer then 8 until the half marathon. Need to keep my training plans going strong. Last updated: 2011-04-19 12:00 AM

Bagel 2 hours before race start.
walked about 2 miles before start. had to move my car from the course.
