Anyone done or doing this race? I am assuming no wetsuit since the swim is only 1/4 mile, and the water temp should be fairly warm by July 31. Any tips or suggestions? This will be my second race.

I did this race last year.  Some people wore wetsuits (i didn't), but it wasn't really necessary.  Overall it was a fun race, the water was warm, the bike was flat, and the run was partly off road.  The other great part was that they allowed you to swim in the lake the weeks leading up to the race.  You just had to tell the lifeguards that your participating in the tri and pay a $10 fee.
