Subject: Rev3 or Racine

Trying to decide between the two for next year.  Rev3 sounds like a lot of fun...but not sure about the hills.  I would assume Racine is a lot flatter.  My second 70.3.

 

Anyone have any experience with the Rev3 vs Ironman venues?

I haven't done Rev3, but have done Racine. Racine is flat, but the roads are rough. If you're wanting something that approximates IMoo, you'd be better off with Rev3. But, it's going to be different hills - lots of steep up and down up there, not some of the long slow climbs (like the 6 miles of gradual incline into Mt. Horeb) of IMoo.
