HUSKRFJ - 2012-09-17 1:18 PM Anyone else still have their race wristband on? I can't bring myself to cut it off! :-)

lol, I had mine on for a couple days but cut it off.  It's sitting next to my sink though so I see it every day.

I cut mine off when we were checking out of the hotel in madison since I didn't know when I would get the next chance.  turns out, I needed it to get my special needs bags.  oops.  I convinced the vounteer to let me get myself when I said I could name everything in my run special needs bag and describe in detail what my long sleeve shirt looked like.

My race report should be up today or tomorrow. I just want to add pictures to it

Does anyone know if the FinisherPix download all formats is only pics or if it includes the video as well?  Another way to phrase my question is do you have to specifically order the video to get it or is it included in any of the packages?

Wristband still on.

Enter your bib number, get your photos up. Click on the little cart icon on the bottom of a picture. Another menu will come up and you will see a tab for videos. Click on that and you will see where you can order your finisher video. You cannot view it first. It will take a couple of days to go through prcocessing. Then when it is finished processin, they will send you a link through email to your video on you tube. You can download it to your hardrive.  I just got mine from Louisville and Im glad I ordered it.

I have to admit that the finisher photo website is perhaps one of the worst I have encountered for viewing and purchasing finisher pictures.  I ordered my pictures, but I did not see anything for the video.  I also knew I had a lot of other pictures out there in lost and found, but I was not sure if I could still claim them after purchasing my package (still don't know).  And lastly, finding my unclaimed photos is virtually impossible using their poorly designed and horribly inefficient website.   Okay, that's enough complaining for me.  The good news is that the pictures are good quality and turned out nicely.  I just get upset in this day and age, when a web front end is not user friendly, easy to navigate or just extremely slow and inefficient.  I see no excuse for that.

Wristband cut off on day 2, but definitely saved forever!

It really is horrible.  When I did Florida they also included a bunch of shots of the mass start including photos taken from a helicopter.  They were awesome.  Also with so many of the photos just tied to the time you cross the matts, they are terrible and have way too many people in them.  There are only 4 pictures of me by myself in the entire package (all the side shots of the bike) but the rest of them (including all my finisher photos have three or four people in them.  I think I have only one half way decent finishing line photo.

I paid for the download, but I think Asiorders did a much better job with the event photography.

Oh, and my race report is finally up.  It took forever, but it is also SUPER long so I would understand if people don't want to read.  I like to go back and re-read my race reports later on to help remember everything about the day.
