I really enjoyed Tugaloo as my first Olympic distance race today.  The swim went better than I anticipated for that distance and the bike course had a few climbs but many sections were pretty flat too.  My fault that I forgot to take a Clif bar with me on the bike and only had one Gu in my pocket.  As a result I bonked pretty bad when it came to the run.  Lesson learned for the next race.

Question I had about the distance for the bike portion.  When I got home I finally looked at my trip distance and it said 27.4 mi.  My computer is usually pretty accurate, so I wanted to compare to what others had.  Anyone else close to that distance?  If so it's a good mile longer than the 42k they advertised.

I think my computer said 42.2km when I took it out of transition. Of course, when I finished the hike back to the car it was quite a bit more.

I know everybody's interested in Augusta today but here's a link to my race report from yesterday's Tugaloo race.

Awesome recap, thanks.BTW, the results are posted online. My swim was about 3 minutes slower than I'd hoped. My bike was on par and the run was REALLY slow!
