Comments: Run was good until 4th mile...right calf started lettin me know it was unhappy...same with right shin... at mile 5, right calf was WAY unhappy...stretched it...downhill portion of last mile of race helped alot..let Lyn get ahead of me a little bit, then she was off like a jackrabbit,....she came in 20 secs ahead of me... What would you do differently?: Train longer distances before doing this...DEFINITELY train better...very good eye-opener for first race...  Post race
Warm down: Limp away What limited your ability to perform faster: Poor pre-training, crappy weather, right calf and shins angry Event comments: Good race for my FIRST TIME ever running 6 miles willingly by myself (ie...military before)...so, post race day, legs REALLY tight...need a massage Profile Album Last updated: 2006-01-18 12:00 AM
