Subject: HRM Spontaneously Resets!
I got my Polar S120 for Christmas this past year, and it keep spontaneously resetting. It does it about once a month... I have to reset everything from HR zones, to timers to the time and date!!

The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke because it happened right after I went through Airport Security. I was only wearing the wristband... but it has since happened 3 more times (not at the airport that is).

Is this typical, or should I consider returning it? It works fine after the reset, but it is annoying to change the stats all the time.

This happened with my TIMEX body link system. Return the watch while still under warranty, if it's anything like my TIMEX watch, it will completely fail within a few months.

I had an S120 for about 6 months that worked flawlessly. I ended up upgrading to one that records HR samples or I'd have kept it.

I would contact Polar about it.
