Subject: Paris Mountain Tri
Has anyone done the Paris Mountain tris? I am thinking of doing the sprint tri but have never done open water swimming. When are we able to train at the lake up there?

I have done the longer distance twice. The swim is the same. OnOnTri has had a couple of training sessions in the lake in the past. In all honesty I prefer the open water swim sessions at lake Hartwell. The water in Crystal Lake (Paris Mountain) is really nasty. More than a few people have complained about getting sick after swimming there. I wouldn't hesitate about doing the race again but also wouldn't go out of my way to do training sessions there either.
