I am considering upgrading bikes and I know the Fuji d6 will fit. I can't find much about the bike online. I know Matty Reed rides one, it is in my price range, and I really like the frame. Other than that I don't know squat about the bike. I would love to hear from someone who rides one.

I personally don't ride it, but my wife does.  I will speak for her in that she really loves how well it rides.  The shifting is good and aerobars are comfortable.  Plus, it also comes with some nice race wheels!

We have had a few minor issues with the rear wheel alignment and rubbing against the brake, but have been able to easily fix it.  Other than that, it's a great bike.

I have the Kestrel 4000 and really like that as well.  It is a similar option in the same price range.

Kestrel and Fuji are owned by the same parent company...........

Is there a reason you are NOT looking at something like a Cervelo P2C?

Fuji's and Cervelo's fit different proportioned people optimally.

I've never been on a D6 but, in my opinion, they are beautiful bikes.

No doubt bikes fit differently but I always choose going fast over beautiful.  Very little data out there on the aerodynamics of the Fuji D6.  I am sure there is a bike that fits similarly from Cervelo, Scott, Felt, Trek, Specialized.

I am looking at everything. I just know Fuji fit and the price. Like you said Fuji doesn't release any data. So I was looking for feedback from those who ride them.

Jon,

I have a 2009 d6 that I bought in Sept. 2010. I absolutely love this bike. It is my first tri-bike.
I feel it fits me very well. Got a Retul fit. I am very happy with the bike. I have bought a pair of Sram S-80 wheels and zipp rtc bar end shifters. I bought the bike at a local bike shop at a very good price. Since it was a year old. I feel more comfortable on this bike than my road bike. I can stay in the aero bars for what seems for ever. This past season I was able to get a 2nd place age group in a local sprint and 3rd age group in a oly. Both races, I was able to have the fastest bike split in my age group. I was very excited about that cuz, I never have come close to the podium.

It doesn't have to be an either/or situation.............

I also just picked up a leftover 2009 D6, and it's my first TT bike, so I really don't have much to compare it to.  But so far, it feels pretty good.  Mostly trainer time, though I did get it out for a quick ride outside when I first got it.  Didn't feel much faster than the road bike, but since getting some miles on the trainer, I think it will be, as I've gotten more comfortable on it.

Speaking of comfort, I might swap out the seat from the original.  I get a weird pinching sensation where I sit on it, and the nose (skinny part of the seat) is literally two inches wide, which seems bigger than other saddles.

Adjusting stack can be a little more work, since the front brake cable runs through the headset.

Just spent the afternoon going to LBS looking at all the different bikes and getting a feel for them. The last shop I went to does Retul fitting and from there they discuss bikes. As my hubby says the prices of the bikes might be more but having the fitting information will be priceless.Out of the 3 bike shops none had a Fuji D6. One did have the Kastrel which is similar to Fuji but I thought the Felt felt better. However I am holding off on making any decision till I get the fitting. I can't wait.
