googles started leaking, but did not bother me to much or so I thought.
going under lane lines seemed to make things slow
Took Gu pack
What would you do differently?:

I would try and relax more and work on my breathing
I felt really tight and could not find my rythm in the water. Was not getting a xmooth long pull.

Need to learn to get on and off bike faster and also put shoes on while already on bike

I felt that I should have pushed myself more on teh bike. I was really trying to stay consistant and not surge. I think because I did this I found the race to be easier. Ave was up so I am happy about that.
Took Excel pack
What would you do differently?:

WOuld have liked to climed the continuous hills at a faster cadence

Again trying to stay consistant. Feet felt fine with no socks.
Mind started to wonder. Ran was over before I new it. I had alot of kick at the end.maybe almost to much
What would you do differently?:

Push myself alittle more
Post race
Warm down:

Did not need much a a cool down. I recovered really fast.
Had a recovery drink

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I am not really for such. My trying really hard to stay consistant. Maybe my mind was not there to hurt that day. I know I could have pushed my self more I have done it dozens of times before. I was alittle disappionted that I did not feel as if I pushed myself as usual

Event comments:

This race was very disorganized. They never stuck to a distance until the day of the race. Transitions were long, beginning of bike course dangerous. They put way to may turns on parking lots and the run did not have helpers at main intersections with hig traffic

I don't think the course was the 14 miles I know it was over because of infor on sheet and my computer. Plus everyone complaining
Wind: Some
Course: It was not that hard, however the turns in the parking lots were awful, the roads were not that clean. The turns were not set up for passing. You had to go and stop alot. The biggest was the WALL. I never got off my bike. I think it was the hardest hill I have climbed. One had to stand from the start. If was a good expereince. Glad I have been working on climbing!!!

Congrats on the race.  Sounds like it could have been organized a little better.  I had planned on doing this one but it didn't work out with my schedule.  Hey...great run time.  I would kill for a pace like that :-)
