Pre-race routine:

Got up around 6, ate some apples, grabbed a small coffee @ Starbucks...arrived to race site, parked, registered, and began warming up
Event warmup:

About a mile, but did 2 strides this time, even though it was miserable...

Solid run...hit the first mile, all uphill too, @ 6:22, slowed down to 6:44 second, then right around 6 for the 3rd to almost break 20...
What would you do differently?:

Lose weight...that's it...

Warm down:

Ran about a mile, slower pace...felt great

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight and cold probably

Event comments:

A big race...timing company was miserable...still, with so many runners, you really get to gauge your fitness...
