I tried to get in on the flo pre-order but am afraid I didn't make the first cut. I need wheels this season not next. 

I keep reading posts saying why buy unknown when I can get zipps or similar aero in proven wheelsets for around $1000. I sure cant find any in the classifieds here or on st.com 

If they can be found show me! Bring me your used wheels Cool

Really no one? I am serious I read countless posts about how a good used wheeler could be had for little more than te price of the flos but...

Not sure what your looking for but 808/1080 for a 1000 no way.

Do have a set of 404s 2009 tubies for a 1000+shipping.

Txs 404s are interesting but want clinchers.

Really just being a bit of a smart u know what. because of all the Flo haters on the forums saying people were wasting their money on an unknown when they could get similar used Zipps for around the same price point.

I have seen a 404 front and 808 rear sold separate totalling 1200 listed on here... Which is feasible for me.

If you be patient you will find a good deal. There was a 606 set on ST awhile back for 1000. Those where tubies also. Clinchers don't seem to be as available.

If you do your home work tubies are not as scary as peps seem to think. Really take a look at them.

There is a set of 808/1080 clinchers on slowtwitch(2nd page). Looks like their price is a bit higher than what you wanna spend though.

I noticed to two sets on ST was well.  Not sure it helps, but I'm almost positive the set listed by Dwain83 were owned by TrySports and they are in excellent condition.  I rented them for my end of season HIM and they served me well, even with nasty crosswinds!
