Subject: Triathlon in Santa Clarita area?
I am fairly new to triathlons, and I swear I remember a triathlon advertised last year that started at Castaic Lake, and finished at the mall in Santa Clarita.  They announced that the triathlon had been postponed, and to check back in 2012.  I can't remember who was putting it on- Trifecta, Xterra? I can't find any info about it anywhere.  Does anyone know if it will take place this summer?  I'm not confusing this race with the one at Six Flaggs Magic Mountain.

Renegade racing put on the Magic Mountain Man (M3) its in October HIM and Olympic
the first year it was point to point , now its simpler logistics wise
but harder as they added another climb to make up for the (flat) mileague lost
riding from the lake to T2 .

Yes, it was Trifecta--and it has simply vanished. The official website (trifectaworld.com) redirects to tricalifornia.com, where there's nary a mention of it.
