I've been eying IM Texas 2013 since it fits best with my schedule. Looks like last year it was 90 degrees/80% humidity. I'm from up north (Minnesota) and during this time it's 40-70 degrees- ideal training weather if you ask me. How do athletes training for these races that have significantly different climates? We do have humid/hot summers, but that begins June-Sept.

Put a space heater in the room with your treadmill or trainer.

I think I saw a picture once of a guy who basically built a sauna in his basement to train in.

I've sometimes sat in the sauna at my gym for 40 minutes getting ready for hot races.  I bring in a bottle of water, sit for about 5 minutes, then do stretching and push ups for about 3 minutes to get some physical activity in there, going through that cycle about 5 times.  I've also cranked up the heat with a space heater, but that really only works if you have a small room, and you'd have to have the space heater going for quite a bit to get the temp up to 90F.  The whole thing with the sauna is that it gets the humidity as a factor.  Most people can't do 40 minutes straight.  At first I couldn't either, starting as low as 5 minutes and then eventually building up.  Also helps to bring in a water bottle since during the race you'll have one anyway, especially since you're going to lose a lot of weight in there for 40 minutes.

I love the heat though.  Wish I lived some place where it was hot all the time.  NJ doesn't do it.

I will say this being 25 miles from IM Texas ( where I live). I can say that this May SHOULD be cooler than last May. Last summer was a huge anomaly compared to years in past. August was a beast ( average high was 101). Now, knowing the humidity, I would seriously hydrate ( like you did not know..LOL) . I would also check with the National Weather Service. Weather.com is run by computers and does not have a human hand to them, per se. The NWS is your best best. Also, forecasts this far out are SOO prone to error, I would wait at least a week to see what shakes out. Even though the GFS has been updated, it still gets squirrley with numbers.

I noticed that the heat does not get to me as bad after I lost 10lbs.
