What races are Alberta Triathletes doing this summer?

New user 26  Northern Alberta |  Subject: What races are Alberta Triathletes doing this summer?As I am a newbie, I am only registered in the Grande Prairie Sprint Tri on June 17th. But assuming I don't do something stupid, I was thinking about the Prince George Sprint in July, and the Camrose Sprint in August and the Peace River Sprint.

Anyone done any of these races or planning on doing them? Assuming Camrose is the Alberta Challenge at Miquelon, I have done the oly there. Tough run course for me(i hate running) but the rest was okay. Will probably do it again. If you don't mind the drive, invermere has a great tri"heart of the rockies" middle of July. There is also a sprint Triathlon in Lacombe, the labor day long weekend. Good luck. |

On the menu : Graniteman (sprint race in the states) June 24 Nationals (Oly) July 8 I'll probably race 3-4 in Aug/Sept and then call it a year. Thinking about Oly & Sprint provincials and Xterra Nats. |

Should it, had looked for an Oly - but my one knee felt light total crap after Sylvan. Not sure what's going on there but gotta get it figured out. |

Competing in Alberta Challenge this coming weekend, Innisfail Sept 8th and HITS Series Lake Havasu City in November. Haven't competitively swam since 1995 so looking forward to joing Masters Club in Spruce Grove this September.
