Comments:

I have had severe allergies the last 3 days. I had a raspy cough due to sinus drainage, but not a cold. I ran pretty well, and actually slowed down to talk with a couple people. Really, my race should have been about 7-8 minutes faster, but I didn't really mind the conversation.
What would you do differently?:

My job has been a killer since the end of my last HIM 4 weeks ago. I have had minimal training, about half of what I should have been doing. I have also concentrated on my bike a bit more, so I need a bit more balance.

Post race
Warm down:

Gatorade, some stretching.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I don't really know. I slowed down to talk to people and kept thsi more an observational study race than a full blown get up and go race.

Event comments:

This is definitely a fun race, and was a fairly "social" event for me as I slowed to talk a couple times for 2-5 minutes each. Real world time was probably more in the area of 1:55-ish. I will drop the hammer in the Warsaw Sprint Tri and redeem myself!
